My first memories would be those of my parents garden situated in Sussex
My mother and father would spend many peace full afternoons planting and maintaining a garden of flowers so vibrant in colour and soothing to the mind.
At the bottom of the garden there was a swing that hung from the sycamore tree.
Below the swing white crocuses would poke up in early spring.
Backwards and forward my brothers and I would swing to the sound of blackbird, robin, song thrush
and dove.
The music was within and around an orchestra of mother nature abundant in love.
The pallet of spring sprung up and shared her beauty with all that had time not to let it pass them by.
A stones throw from the green of lawn out front was a winding lane ajasent to a farm named cherry tree the lane lead to an open playing field where football ,rugby and cricket was played on a weekend.
The facility for bowling, tennis, pitch and put, where open all days.
At the back of the playing fields lay pastures of hay and fields of wild flowers a pond and stream
Two fields over ran the river mole with chub and stick le backs swimming around.
A short distance along the river you would arrive at a plunge-pole where you could swim.
Next to the pole there was a woodland of silver-birch and pine.
As the sun rose on a spring morning the senses would be alive.
The forest floor would be littered with blue bells and daffodil's rising for light.
As you sat upon a fallen tree with a cushion of moss and carpet of fern you might wonder no more for the meaning of life.
As you breathed the sent of nature and caught a hint of pine upon the breeze as it brushed the leafs.
The trees might sway as my thoughts might have done to what mankind had forgotten.
To look up at the sun breaking through the canopy and hear the sound of birds singing sweet songs of melody's pure and true.
Lonesomeness is felt no more, the sickness of greed that infects most is wiped away tension is left behind you are at one with your self, surroundings and the creator is with in as well as around.
The peace the love and harmony you sort to find was there within your mind and now you have found a little of what you needed to survive.
If god had a name nature it might be.
